Memory walks is a project in which I look back at the archival images from my youth. I construct new images inspired by these archive images. Memories are vulnerable and constantly distorted. I wonder what we still see as reality, the registered image or that which we ourselves can remember.
I study the reality of a memory by making a contrast between the registered image and the image I remember of this registered place. I do this by combining the archival images with the constructed images. Some of the images have been extended with a painting. This painting represents what I can remember from the moment the image doesn’t show.
